One of Beam’s earliest and most cherished projects, the LUXUR first office is nestled within a Peranakan shophouse—an architectural gem and heritage landmark in Singapore. Beam has always held a deep appreciation for historical buildings, and this project offered a unique opportunity to blend old-world charm with contemporary clarity.

Due to heritage design restrictions, Beam embraced a respectful design approach—preserving original features as a clean, quiet backdrop while introducing refined elements that gently contrast and complement the existing character. The result is a space that balances identity with restraint, inviting calm focus and purposeful creativity.

Clean-lined furnishings, subtle detailing, and curated finishes speak to a minimalist sensibility, while the picture wall behind the sofa—a collection of Beam’s travel photography—adds a deeply personal layer.
