The facade is approached as a point of continuity rather than contrast.
Existing elements are retained to preserve the building’s original character, while new insertions are introduced with restraint. The intention is not to redefine the exterior, but to stabilise its presence within the streetscape. Subtle adjustments in proportion and material allow the building to remain recognisable, while quietly signalling a shift in use.
